What self check-in is and how it works
Self check-in is independent entry to the home, without having to meet anyone at a fixed time. It works like this: before your arrival we send you detailed instructions on how to reach the home, how to access the keys and how to get in, so that when you arrive everything is ready. No waiting in front of a reception, no schedules to match with traffic or a delayed flight.
The main advantage is freedom: you can arrive early in the morning or in the dead of night, after a day of travel or work, and find the home waiting for you. It’s handy for those coming for work, for those landing at awkward hours and for anyone who simply doesn’t want constraints. And despite the independence, you’re never alone: we stay reachable for anything you need, before and during the stay. One message and there’s a person on the other side.
What the CIN is and why it matters
The CIN is the National Identification Code: a code that uniquely identifies every accommodation facility and every short-let property in Italy. It was introduced to bring order and transparency to the short-stay sector: it means the home is registered, recorded and compliant in the eyes of the law.
For you as a guest it’s a concrete guarantee: booking accommodation with a CIN means choosing a compliant property, not an improvised set-up. All our homes have their own National Identification Code, and you’ll find it shown on each apartment’s page on the site. It’s a mark of seriousness that protects you, and for us it’s simply the right way to work.
What to bring and what to expect on arrival
On arrival, by law, you’ll need to provide a valid ID document for guest registration: keep it handy, it applies to everyone in the group. It’s a standard procedure for every accommodation facility, quick and necessary.
For the rest, the beauty of self check-in is that you don’t have to think about much: the home is prepared, clean and ready, with the instructions we sent you already clear. If you have any doubt about the time, the route or any detail, write to us before you leave: we prefer to sort everything in advance, so that when you arrive in Bari you only have to open the door and start your stay.
